Windows 2000 Dialup |

The following steps should be taken to setup a dialup (modem/ISDN) connection under Windows 2000. This document does NOT cover the setup of a broadband connection - please refer to your ADSL modem/router manufacturers manual for broadband setup instructions.

Step One
Click on the Start button, then click Settings, then Click Network and Dial Up Connections. |
Step Two
Double Click Make New Connection |
Step Three
Click Next
Select Dial-up to Private Network |
Step Four
Click Next
Untick Use Dialing Rules and enter the full dialup number in the Phone Number box.

Step Five
Click Next
Select the For all users option |
Step Six
Click Next
Type in the description box Quik Internet. |
Step Severn
Enter your username & password. You'll notice that the number that was entered in Step 4 now appears in the Dial field. Click Dial to connect to the Internet.
