Outlook 2002 |

The following steps should be taken to setup Outlook 2002 for email access.

Step One
Load Outlook, Click Tools from the top menu bar and then select Email Accounts

Step Two
Click the E-mail radio button in the View or change existing e-mail accounts area, then click Next

Step Three
Select POP3 then Click Next
|
Step Four
Your Name field, enter your name as you would like it to appear on outgoing messages
E-mail Address field, enter your email address here
Logon Information (User Name and Password) fields, check your account username and password are correctly entered
Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA), should NOT be ticked

Step Five
Incoming Mail (POP3) field, enter the Quik Internet POP server address. Details can be obtained from the 'MyAccount' system
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) field, enter the Quik Internet SMTP server address. Details can be obtained from the 'MyAccount' system
Click the More Settings button.
NOTE: Clicking the Test Account Settings button will fail at this stage

Step Six
Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server
Click the OK button.
Click the Next button.

Step Seven
Click the Finish button
