Verifying your Outlook Express settings is the first step to fixing email problems as most problems are caused by incorrect details being used.
Firstly you will need to login into 'MyAccount' and then 'My Settings' to retrieve the POP/SMTP settings for your account. Open Eudora Click on the Tools menu Click on Options Getting Started tab Real Name field, enter your name as you would like it to appear on outgoing messages Return Address field, enter your email address here Mail Server (Incoming) field, enter POP server address. Details can be obtained from the 'MyAccount' system SMTP Server (Outgoing) field, enter SMTP server address. Details can be obtained from the 'MyAccount' system Allow Authentication field, should be ticked Checking Mail tab Mail Server field, enter your name as you would like it to appear on outgoing messages Login Name field, Incoming Mail tab Server Configeration field, POP should be selected Authentication Style field, password should be selected Sending Mail tab Return Address field, enter your email address here SMTP Server field, enter SMTP server address.
