Important Information about Domain Name Purchases

Our Registration Charges
Our domain charges for all domain name extensions include the costs to us (registry fees), administration charges for registration and a fee to enable us to contact you when your domain is due for renewal.

Transfers
We will not charge you for transferring a .uk domain to Quik Internet. We charge a fee of £15+VAT for transferring all other domain extensions to us. This fee included a renewal period of 1 year.

We will not charge you for transferring a domain away from Quik Internet. To transfer a domain away, please contact us. A .uk domain can be transferred away by providing us with a new IPS tag. We will provide an EPP key for the transfer of all other domain extensions.

All transfer requests will be dealt with in a maximum of 2 working days (in most cases this will be within 3 hours).

Domain Services
Quik Internet can provide a number of services for use with your domain(s). Email and/or URL Forwarding can be provisioned for a yearly cost of £10+VAT per year per service. Website hosting can also be provisioned, with costs starting at £60+VAT per year. Please contact us or read more here. Services are usually setup with 2 working days from the time an order is placed.

Contacting Us
You can easily contact us about your domain name(s). You can call us, fax, email or write to us using the details here. We aim to deal with enquiries in a fast and efficient manner, usually within 3 hours of receiving a request. In rare cases it may take as long as 2 working days for us to respond.

Domain Availability
It is possible (although very unlikely) that a domain may not be available despite our website stating otherwise. We rely on the information contained in the Whois databases and as such can only relay information stored in those databases. In instances where a domain name cannot be registered, all costs will be refunded in full.

Purchasing Outside of the UK
Unfortunately, we are only able to accept payment in UK sterling. Providing you are able to pay the costs of a domain name in UK sterling, you can use this service.

Payment Terms
Quik Internet and our secure payment service provider (Worldpay) use the latest technology to protect your credit card information and do not release it to any outside organisation. Any losses sustained by the transmission of personal information by e-mail or Internet links shall be borne exclusively by you. Quik Internet intends to provide you with the safest and most secure shopping experience possible.

Refund Policy
Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Company Management. Please note that an administration fee may be charged. In cases where Quik Internet have sold you a domain that we were then unable to register for you, a full refund will be given.

Cancellations
Once registered, your domain registration CANNOT be cancelled. The domain will be owned by yourself for the period stated at time of registration.

Complaints Procedure
We don't believe you'll have any reason to complain about our service but, if you are unhappy for any reason, please contact us and ask to speak to a manager. If a manager cannot help you, your complaint will be passed to the Managing Director for action.
